Return policy

This policy applies to products purchased directly from jlmcurbtech.com.

Return window

An eligible return may be requested within 30 calendar days after delivery. The request must be emailed to support@jlmcurbtech.com before the 30-day period ends. Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or delayed.

New-condition returns only

jlmcurbtech.com accepts returns only when the product remains in new condition. To qualify, the item must be unused, unassembled, uninstalled, undamaged, free from stains, odours, hair, wear, or alteration, and returned with all original packaging, parts, hardware, manuals, and accessories. The item must remain suitable for resale as new.

Because assembly and use can permanently change upholstered furniture and hardware, an assembled or used sofa or furniture item is not eligible for a change-of-mind return. Opening a carton only to inspect an item does not by itself make the item used, provided it otherwise remains in new condition and can be safely repacked in the original materials.

Starting a return

Email support@jlmcurbtech.com with the order number, item to be returned, reason for return, and clear current photographs of the product and packaging. If the return is eligible, the support team will provide a return authorization and, where required for large furniture, freight-pickup or delivery instructions.

All authorized returns must be sent or delivered to the return address above unless the written return authorization provides different freight-collection instructions. Do not send an item back before receiving authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or may experience significant processing delays. Large furniture must not be self-shipped without approval because the freight service, packaging, and delivery arrangements must be coordinated in advance.

Return shipping costs

For a voluntary return or change of mind, the customer is responsible for the return shipping or freight cost. The estimated return cost and available method will be communicated before the return is arranged. If jlmcurbtech.com supplies a return label or freight collection for convenience, the disclosed return cost may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

If the customer receives an incorrect item or a product that is damaged or defective on arrival, jlmcurbtech.com will arrange and pay for the authorized return or another appropriate remedy. No restocking fee is charged for an eligible return.

Damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect items

Inspect the item and packaging promptly at delivery. Visible freight damage should be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt, with photographs taken before packaging is discarded. Contact support within 48 hours after delivery and provide the order number plus clear photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label, and affected area. Prompt reporting helps jlmcurbtech.com pursue the carrier claim. This 48-hour reporting request does not remove any legal right or remedy that applies.

The product and evidence will be reviewed before a remedy is confirmed. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may be replacement parts, repair support, an authorized return for refund, or another agreed resolution.

Non-returnable items

The following are not accepted for change-of-mind return:

- products that have been used, assembled, installed, modified, damaged after delivery, or are no longer in new condition;
- products missing original packaging, components, hardware, manuals, or accessories;
- made-to-order, personalized, or customized products clearly identified as such before purchase;
- final-sale items clearly identified as non-returnable before purchase; and
- gift cards.

These exclusions do not apply where an item is incorrect, damaged, defective, or where applicable law requires a remedy.

No direct exchanges

jlmcurbtech.com does not offer direct exchanges. To obtain a different model, size, colour, or item, the customer must complete an eligible return and place a new order separately. A new order is subject to current price and availability.

Inspection and refund timing

After the return arrives, jlmcurbtech.com will inspect it and notify the customer whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved. The customer's bank, card issuer, or wallet provider may take additional time to post the credit.

If 15 business days have passed since refund approval and the credit is not visible, the customer should first contact the bank or payment provider and then email support@jlmcurbtech.com.

Original delivery charges

Standard shipping is free for eligible orders. Any optional upgraded delivery service or other non-standard service charge is not refundable once that service has been performed, except where required by law or where the return results from an error by jlmcurbtech.com.

Cancellations and address changes

To request cancellation or an address change, contact support within 24 hours after placing the order. Requests are not guaranteed if processing or dispatch has already started. If an order can no longer be cancelled, it must be received and, if eligible, returned under this policy. Refusing an eligible undamaged delivery without authorization may result in carrier return charges being deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

Refunds for cancelled orders

If a cancellation is approved before fulfilment, any collected payment will be returned to the original payment method. jlmcurbtech.com will initiate the approved refund within 10 business days. The financial institution may need additional time to post the credit.
